Full-Time Media

The popular travel channel expands luxury lifestyle network with three new channels dedicated to adventure, hospitality and design

Full-Time Travel announces the launch of Full-Time Media, a multifaceted content studio that welcomes additional lifestyle channels: Full-Time Explore, Full-Time Hotels and Full-Time Design. The company announces that they will be changing our business name on Facebook from Visuals of Life to also be Full-Time Explore. Full-Time Media’s social-first formula melds high-impact visuals with lifestyle journalism.

“Content is currency,” said Matt Carroll, Co-Founder & Partner. “Today’s consumer wants to be part of the conversation and they prefer storytelling with a real point of view and helpful reader service.” Co-Founder Nick Van Sicklen adds, “We sit at the intersection of professional editorial and social conversation—exactly where our audience is”

Full-Time, which launched in 2018, now reaches more than 1MM followers across Instagram and Facebook and over 250MM followers across its creator network. Full-Time Travel also communicates two times a week with more than 75K email subscribers. This month, the company unveiled a dynamic user-friendly website to display its owned and custom content. Full-Time Travel pinpoints destinations worth wanderlusting over with new hotels, art exhibits and buzzy openings. Most recently, editors highlighted Flims, Switzerland; Uruguayan wine country and Tasmania as three spots worth visiting.

New channels will follow suit with Full-Time Style, expected to launch later this Spring.

Carroll and Van Sicklen, who held various roles at American Express Publishing, Modern Luxury, Robb Report, Travel + Leisure, Food & Wine and Wallpaper*, have aligned an elite team of publishing and media veterans under their leadership, including Co-Founder and Chief Content Officer, Gabrielle Blitz Rosen, who previously oversaw social development at Travel + Leisure and served as Chief Digital Officer of Beautiful Destinations before launching her own business, Townhouse Digital; and Randy Pease, Managing Director, who previously led ad operations, account management and creative services at Time Inc. Co-Founder and Chief Content Officer Blitz Rosen adds, “Ever-changing media habits demand a dynamic and immensely innovative presence. Full-Time Travel is focused on pairing beautiful content with quality travel intel and serving it on the platforms you frequent most.”

"This sculpture is called "Transmission" by artist Daniel Popper. Its a reminder that we are all rooted in love, unity and the divine. She stands a towering 28 feet tall and is located on Mojave Moon Ranch in Joshua Tree. The land is private property, so you can see it from the viewing platform off of Sunfair Road. And take it from me, it's best viewed at sunset."

Just 1 hour from Shanghai by train, Cherry Blossom Valley is a popular tourist destination, particularly in the spring when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom. The valley is named after the thousands of cherry blossom trees that cover the area and create a stunning display of pink and white flowers. The trees were originally planted in the 1980s by a group of Japanese experts who were invited to China to help with reforestation efforts. The best time to visit is typically in late March or early April. Get there early to beat the crowds!
