Some of our favorite historic properties—including the delcoronado in San Diego—are said to be haunted by the ghosts of guests past. In the case of the Del, the spirit of Kate Morgan, who checked into the iconic resort in 1892, is believed to have never left. (Though with some of the best beachfront access anywhere in California, we can’t say we blame her for wanting to stay at the property forever.)
