MGM Rewards Destinations Have a Restaurant for Every Occasion

From pre-game bites to big-time celebrations, here’s where to eat the next time you’re in Las Vegas.

By Phoebe Neuman

The Las Vegas dining scene is the definition of spoiled for choice. But, with so many restaurants (322 on the Strip alone) and only so many dinner reservations to be made on any given trip, deciding which restaurants to try can be more than a little bit overwhelming.

That’s where this list comes in: Here, we’ve partnered with the dining experts at several MGM Rewards destinations to share some of our favorite places to eat in Las Vegas. Whether you’re looking for a quick bite before a game or to celebrate like a high roller, these five tempting options are sure to satisfy.

For a Quick Bite before the Game: La La Noodle at Park MGM

Thankfully, there’s nothing chill about the flavor-packed Pan-Asian menu at La La Noodle at Park MGM. Stop by before a professional hockey match at T-Mobile Arena (the restaurant opens early for home games) for starters like the perfectly spicy green papaya salad or the salt and pepper calamari and entrées like curry laksa noodles, drunken beef, and crispy sweet and spicy seabass.

For a Romantic Date Night: Bavette’s Steakhouse & Bar at Park MGM

In a city full of restaurants designed for date nights, Bavette’s Steakhouse & Bar at Park MGM is one of the sexiest. The darkly glamorous Belle Epoque–inspired space is the perfect place to settle in for an intimate dinner. Start the night with tenderloin steak tartare or a peppered duck and goat cheese terrine and one of Bavette’s signature old-fashioneds. Then, share a 32-ounce American Wagyu porterhouse steak, with a side of brussels sprouts dusted in Parmesan, chives, and Dijon, and finish off an indulgent evening with a slice of lemon meringue pie.

For a Pre-Show Dinner: LPM Restaurant & Bar at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

With a cocktail menu inspired by the French artist, writer, and bon vivant Jean Cocteau, dinner at the playful, art-filled LPM Restaurant & Bar is just what you need to get in the mood to take in a concert at The Chelsea in The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas or a show at the Sphere. Can’t-miss dishes include bright yellowtail carpaccio, rich homemade gnocchi, decadent lobster risotto, and perfectly cooked lamb cutlets; and be sure to try a Tomatini, LPM’s signature martini, made with muddled Campari tomatoes, white balsamic, simple syrup, and vodka, and finished off with salt and pepper.

For a Business Deal: PRIME Steakhouse at Bellagio

There’s no place to wine and dine quite like PRIME Steakhouse at Bellagio. Fresh off of a renovation, the Jean-Georges Vongerichten–led steakhouse is more impressive than ever, with a menu that now features an upgraded selection of A5 Japanese Wagyu beef, as well as new large-format dishes including duck, short ribs, and Parmesan-crusted chicken. And, when it’s time to toast to a done deal with a cocktail, the Crooner (PRIME’s take on a Negroni), the Lakeside Old Fashioned, or the Sernita will do the trick nicely.

For a Major Celebration: Carbone at ARIA

Getting a table at Carbone is no small feat, which is exactly why it’s the go-to spot for celebrating in serious style. Snagging one of those coveted seats means you’re in for all the delicious drama the restaurant is famous for—complete with its old-school charm, over-the-top tableside presentations, and a lively atmosphere that feels like a scene from a classic Italian-American movie. Of course, the food is the real star: be sure to order chef Mario Carbone’s iconic spicy rigatoni vodka, perfectly crispy veal Parmesan, and the show-stopping bananas foster, flambéed right at your table.

Some of our favorite historic properties—including the delcoronado in San Diego—are said to be haunted by the ghosts of guests past. In the case of the Del, the spirit of Kate Morgan, who checked into the iconic resort in 1892, is believed to have never left. (Though with some of the best beachfront access anywhere in California, we can’t say we blame her for wanting to stay at the property forever.) Tell us, would you stay at a haunted hotel?

We’ve said it once, and we’ll say it again: biking is one of the best ways to explore destinations both new and familiar. 🚴🏽‍♀️ And viceroyhotels seems to agree. The hotel group has just launched a selection of curated routes out of its hotels in Santa Monica, Chicago, Washington D.C., and the Algarve, Portugal, with cycling brand Rapha. Designed for serious bikers and leisurely riders alike, each guided route is designed to get lost in the hidden corners of each destination and connect with local communities in a way you can’t on four wheels.

You’ve heard of Michelin Stars, but what about Michelin Keys? Earlier this month, Michelin awarded its second-ever group of Keys to outstanding hotels and resorts in over 100 countries across every continent (save Antarctica). Included on the list with a top three-Key designation is South Africa’s stunning royalmalewane — which debuted the new Masiya’s Camp, pictured here, earlier this year.
